The Arts Council of Princeton presents MLK Day, a Free Community Event

Join the Arts Council of Princeton as we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a day of multidisciplinary performances, interactive workshops, and discussions as they relate to Dr. King’s life, teachings and civic engagement. Paul Robeson Center for the Arts, 102 Witherspoon Street, Princeton, NJ. 

SCHEDULE:
10-11:20am DoroBucci Contemporary African Dance of Princeton University – Workshop and demos
11:30am-12pm Princeton University Gospel Choir – Live performance
11:30am- 2pm CHOOSE to Listen, Learn, & Share – Community interviews & conversation regarding race, gender, and diversity
12:30-1:20pm Just Wing It! of Princeton High School – Interactive improv performance
1:30-2:15pm CHOOSE to Listen, Learn, & Share – Public Presentation
7-8:30pm: “How to Stay Cool, Calm, and Connected in Turbulent Times” – Adult panel/small group discussion led by Not in our Town
This free community event is held in collaboration with the Historical Society of Princeton, Kidsbridge, and Christine’s Hope.
