MUSIC THAT MAKES HOLLYWOOD

June 1 @ 7:00 pm

$30 – $76

View the classic Chaplin movie as never before with Carl Davis’ symphonic score performed LIVE by NJFO. The music illuminates the newcomer experience from moment to moment and mirrors Chaplin’s use of tearful and comic styles as live orchestra meets the clarity of restored cinematography! Bernstein’s modern day version of Romeo and Juliet and Serbian super-star virtuoso Stefan Milencovich, now a beloved resident of Chicago, complete the line up. Featuring Stefan Milenkovich on the violin.

Featuring the movie, Charlie Chaplin’s The Immigrant, presented with live symphonic score by Carl Davis along with SIBELIUS-Violin concerto and BERNSTEIN-Symphonic Dances from West Side Story.

Conducted by David and produced by the New Jersey Festival Orchestra.
