Drop in and unleash your creativity at our weekly Summer Maker Space! Each week a different hands-on challenge will be offered for you to make and take home. This free program is appropriate for ages 5 and up and will be held in our Innovation Studio from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm every Wednesday from June 21 to August 16.

Island Beach State Park Moonlight Hike

Island Beach State Park Moonlight Hike Join us on an adventurous hike and experience the magic of Island Beach State Park at night. Hike through the dark, dense maritime forest, over the rolling dunes and down to the beach.  Enjoy a blazing bonfire, marshmallows and s’mores while learning about the parks history, ecology and even some astronomy!  We are thrilled that the ASTRA astronomy club will be joining us again this year!   There might even be someone at the iconic Judges Shack waiting…

Restorative Yoga Workshop: The Art of Relaxation Restorative yoga is about slowing down and opening the body through passive stretching. During long holds, your muscles relax deeply without any discomfort, stress, strain, injury risk and pain. This workshop is a good complement to more active practices and an excellent antidote to stress. This monthly restorative workshop uses supported asanas (poses), breath work and meditation practices to explore different relaxation techniques.
