WHAT’S THERAPEUTIC AND FULL OF AIR?
WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY and you can’t just pop one!?
BUBBLE WRAP! My favorite thing to do with bubble wrap is pop the bubbles, either with my feet or hands, either or, it still makes me happy! I am sure there is a physiological meaning behind it all – but at least I am with an elite group of Bubble Wrap Poppers!
#JERSEYFIRST STORY – BUBBLE WRAP
In 1957 these two guys were in their garage trying to create a way to make wallpaper pretty and pop (3D) well nobody bought into the wallpaper concept. Then they decided to use the invention and insulate a greenhouse to keep plants warm. AGAIN.. another idea that didn’t take off. BUT YET.. they kept believing that this little plastic bag of air HAS to be good for something and then… the AH HA moment happened.
THE AH HA MOMENT – The year is 1957 these two entrepreneurs Al Fielding and Marc Chavannes, from Hawthorne, New Jersey, realized that their invention could be used to protect breakable objects when they were shipped through the mail. These bubble-like pillows would absorb the bumps and bounces as a perishable package went from planes, trains to automobiles and would protect that precious porcelain vase from breaking upon arrival – The birth of Bubble Wrap….
