DO YOU KNOW ANYONE WITH A DISABILITY? If so, then you also know that the simplest of things we take for granted, like going outside for fresh air or going to a movie, used to be impossible or extremely rare for someone with a disability! NOT ANYMORE!
HAD NO CLUE and that is why this story is so enlightening – individuals with disabilities can live life just like “normal” people do! No more being locked up in an Institution! No more sharing a room with 35 people! They can get an education! They are getting jobs and earning their own income! AND they can GO outside to get fresh air when they want!
