New Jersey Buzz had the distinct honor of covering the New Jersey Hall of Fame Red Carpet Interviews. Needless to say… the Bee and I had a blast on our Red Carpet Ride!
If you haven’t heard of the New Jersey Hall of Fame (NJHOF) well, NOW you have! Celebrating their 8th year, the Foundation has inducted some 80 extraordinary individuals since 2008 and that is not including last night’s 2015 nominees!
Over the years the categories have grown and cover all possibilities of extraordinary acts. Here are some examples of the NJHOF’s past inductees. PERFORMING ARTS: Bruce Springsteen (2014) and Susan Sarandon (2010). ENTERPRISE: Leon Hess (2011) and Guglielmo Marconi (2009). UNSUNG HERO: Lt. Brian Brennan (2009) and Eric Legrand (2012). SPORTS: Larry Dobb (2010) and Shaquille O’Neal (2009). PUBLIC SERVICE: Alice Waters (2014) and Kathleen DiChiara (2013). ARTS AND LETTERS: Joyce Carol Oats (2012) and Thomas Paine (2013).
The Hall of Fame reinforces a message to New Jersey both young and old. Strive for excellence in any endeavor! All of our interviews had a similar message and as Carla Harris, 2015 UNSUNG HERO Inductee stated; “Inspiration, look to aspire to great heights. If there is something that you really want to do never count yourself out, never let someone tell you that you can’t. If you are interested in it, put your best package together and put your foot on the gas and go forward it because you never know what that one thing about you will be that differentiates you to the top.”
New Jersey Buzz Congratulates the thirteen 2015 Honorees who were inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame!
